Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) available to all NJ residents
The Recovery Wellness Group is pleased to launch Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) for patients struggling with substance abuse in New Jersey. Our OBAT team will provide treatment options for substance use disorders. Patients will receive specialized treatment for their substance use disorder in an office-based primary care setting. Patients can visit our office or start addiction treatment for drugs and alcohol from anywhere in New Jersey virtually. We offer flexible access to care and in-patient and outpatient recovery programs for those struggling with substance abuse.
Treatments & Services
The OBAT Program provides the following services to patients:
- Treatment for all types of Substance Use Disorders, including opioid and alcohol use disorders
- Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD,) including Suboxone and Vivitrol
- Trained addiction experts, including physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and admin team
- Direct access to the team and sessions with APN
- Sessions with the Navigator to address concerns, progress in treatment, and link to outside services
- All sessions can be held remotely
- Compassionate and individualized care

Meet Our Team
Lori McCline, LCADC, CCS – Clinical Director
Lori McCline is the Regional Clinical Director overseeing the Behavioral Crossroads and Greenbranch Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programs. Lori has been with Behavioral Crossroads Recovery since 2013, instrumental in its continued growth and strategic evolvement. She received her B.A. in Management in 2011 and obtained her Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling in 2013 from Grand Canyon University.
Leslie Sanders- Clinical Program Manager
Leslie oversees Greenbranch, OBAT, BCR intakes, the APNs, and the lab. She will have her master’s degree in January and then her LCADC shortly after.
Eli Wilson – Navigator
Eli completes clinical intake. He meets with clients weekly in person or via Zoom. He assists with community resources and treatment progress and discusses coping skills and triggers. He is also a Substance Use-Co-Occurring Disorder Counselor at Behavioral Crossroads, where he has worked for over 7 years. He has a BS in Human Service Youth/Family Services and Administration from Purdue Global University. He is finishing his Master of Science in Spiritual Counseling of Substance Use and Addictive Disorders from Grand Canyon University.

OBAT FAQ’s
What is Office-Based Addiction Treatment?
Office-Based Addiction Treatment, also referred to as OBAT is a program where patients can get treatment for substance use disorders (SUD) in a primary care office setting. Our program is led by experts in the field and APNs with extensive experience in substance use disorder treatment.
What does the program entail?
The program is a six-week medically monitored medication and navigation program. Our team works with patients to develop a plan that meets their needs. For five weeks, you will receive a weekly prescription from our APNs. In the sixth week, the APN will re-evaluate your medical situation. If you miss the five-week window, you cannot complete the six-week program.
What are the treatment options?
Treatment includes medications such as Buprenorphine, Naloxone, or Vivitrol. Some patients may need referrals to an inpatient detox facility, outpatient program, or support groups, depending on the situation.
Can I do all appointments virtually?
Ideally, we recommend that you come for the first appointment in person. If you haven’t been able to complete the forms prior to your appointment, we will assist you with them. If you prefer a virtual appointment, you can complete the forms online, and we’ll mail you cups for sample collection.
Do I have to go off opioids completely?
No, there is a track for medication assistance and prescribed use of Suboxone, but It is very risky to have opioids in your system when you are taking Naloxone or Vivitrol. You may need to be completely clean for a set time.
What does the program cost?
Medicaid fully covers the program.
