Ashley Ryan

Clinical Director
Ashley has worked in the field of addiction for over 15 years, guiding individuals toward a life in recovery and helping them resolve emotional roadblocks and build healthy narratives that support long-term success. She is passionate about incorporating many different modalities and individualizing each person’s approach to recovery, and has created and run holistic programs within treatment centers. A Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Clinical Supervisor, one of her specialties is working with clients who have trauma histories — she is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who has created and facilitated trauma-focused programming on both group and individual levels.
Danielle Demizio
Counselor Intern
With a strong background in addiction recovery, Danielle has dedicated her work to helping individuals heal through mindfulness, meditation and holistic practices — facilitating mindfulness workshops, grounding sound-bowl meditations and other integrative healing experiences. She is currently pursuing her Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification and a Social Work degree at Ocean County College. Danielle believes recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey but a personalized path toward balance, wellness and self-discovery that addresses the mind, body and spirit of each client.
Aharon Cohen

Aharon is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment for every client, meeting people with compassion and acceptance. An attachment-based, person-centered clinician educated at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work (Sara Schenirer), he believes clients inherently know their own answers and strengths. He recognizes and respects the unique cultural and spiritual needs of Orthodox Jewish clients, including those struggling with addiction, while welcoming clients from all backgrounds. His integrative approach emphasizes understanding, connection and collaboration to foster healing and growth.

Michael DiMarco
Director of Business Development
Michael DiMarco has been with The Crossroads Companies for over 20 years and brings extensive experience in sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, and business development. He is passionate about his career and the positive impact The Crossroads Companies has on the communities it serves. As part of a dedicated team, Michael works to help individuals achieve lasting recovery and improved mental wellness by connecting them with the support, structure, and evidence-based services they need to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
A resident of Egg Harbor Township for more than 31 years, Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University, where he was a varsity NCAA wrestler for the Scarlet Knights.
Throughout his career, Michael has been actively involved in community service and professional leadership. His past and current roles include serving as Lacrosse Program Coordinator for the Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League (PAL), President of the Kiwanis Club of Egg Harbor Township, Chapter Secretary of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA), New Jersey Chapter, and Chairman of the Professional Advisory Committee on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (PACADA) for Atlantic County Government.

Laurel has been a human resources executive, manager and generalist for over a decade. She holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Training and Development and has worked across healthcare specialties including substance use disorder treatment and recovery, mental health, partial care, psychiatric rehabilitation, residential and vocational training, and gastroenterology.
